This photo shows car Number 46, a Vanwall driven by Stirling Moss in  Stavelot Corner during a practice session.   Different numbers were used at Spa during practice to fool would-be pirate programme printers.  On race day Number 46 was renumbered Number 2. The Number 2 car did not finish the race due to a complete engine failure in the first lap.
