This photo taken during a practice session shows car Number 46, a Vanwall driven by Stirling Moss in Stavelot Corner. Different numbers were used at Spa during practice to fool would-be freelance programme printers. On race day Number 46 was renumbered as Number 2 and could not finish the race when the engine blew up on the first lap.
