This photo was taken during a practice session and shows car Number 9, a BRM Type 25 driven by Jean Behra and car Number 48, a Vanwall driven by Tony Brooks in the Stavelot Corner.Different numbers were used at Spa during practice to fool would-be freelance programme printers.  On race day car Number 9, was renumbered as Number 8, and the Number 48 car was renumbered as Number 4.  Number 8 did not finish the race.  Number 4 finished in 1st place and won the race.
