The driver, Stuart Lewis-Evans, suffered severe burns which proved fatal six days later back in a specialist burns hospital in England. This photo of Number 12 with driver Stuart Lewis-Evans will be one of the last taken of this very fine young British driver. It is noteworthy to also mention that Stuart Lewis-Evans' adviser and manager was Bernie Ecclestone, the future CEO of the Formula 1 Group.
