Car number 42, Dick Jacobs/Joe Flynn would be crashed by Jacobs and burned out after 26 laps. Car number 64, Ted Lund/Hans Waeffler, finished 17th overall. Car number 26 is the Lance Macklin/Les Leston works Austin-Healey 100S which was struck by 'Levegh's Mercedes-Benz to trigger the catastrophic accident.
