  • Race Data Car number 42 retired. Both drivers were ill-fated in their racing careers, French Olympic ski Champion Oreiller being killed in his Ferrari 250GTO at Montlhery later in 1962, while Spychiger crashed fatally in the Filipinetti Ferrari 365P during the 1964 Monza 1,000Kms.
